Dear Mayor R. Bloomberg,

Please find enclosed some plans for the rebuilding of the World Trade Center buildings. Students in the Penticton Enrichment/Gifted Program(K-8) were given the challenge of designing buildings for the World Trade Center site. We are currently studying the Seven Ancient, Modern, Middle and Natural Wonders of the World and learning about architecture. Since the Twin Towers were at one time the tallest buildings in the world and were considered a ‘wonder’ the students were asked to create a plan that included office building, hotels, a memorial and amenities for all the people who would work and live in the area.

We hope you will enjoy looking at our plans and provide us with some feedback. We would also like to know the make up of the committee that will approve the final plans for the site.

We would like to wish you luck with your new job and we hope to hear from you.
