Dear Music Educator,
I would like to invite you to the Okanagan Concert Band Festival in beautiful Penticton, BC.
The festival will take place on March 6-7, 2012 at the Penticton Trade and Convention Center.
The format for the festival will be the same as last year with each band having a 30-minute warm-up and a 30 minute time slot for their performance and then a 30 minute session with an adjudicator followed by a photo opportunity with the festival photographer.
We are using a new photographer this year and the cost of the photos is included in the registration. You will receive a CD Rom with your band's photos on it and you may print or share the pictures digitally.
There is no cut-off date for entry into the festival.
When we reach 32 groups, the waiting list begins. I have included a registration form that can be mailed back to me with the cheque for registration, and I will forward you a confirmation of registration upon receipt. The Sandman Hotel Penticton will again help to support the festival and is an excellent place to stay (1-250-493-7151). Please check out the Accommodation that the Sandman is able to offer.

The non-refundable registration fee is $250.00 CAD per band of fewer than 40 students and $275.00 per band of 40 or more students. The registration fee must be enclosed with this registration form. Cheques should be made payable to The Okanagan Concert Band Festival.
