FRIENDS
FOR LIFE
The Friends for Life program is a school-based
early intervention and prevention program, proven to be effective in
building resilience and reducing the risk of anxiety disorders in children.
Designed for grades 4,5, and 7 students.
Helping Schools
Helping schools is an online resource for
educators who are committed to protecting students from harms related to
substance use. The resource helps school professionals understand and
address the factors that influence young people's physical and mental
health, including their choices and behaviours regarding alcohol and other
drugs. Developed by CARBC, Helping Schools embraces drug education as a
means of promoting health rather than a means of warning youth to avoid
using drugs.
iMinds
iMinds helps young people in Grades 6
to 10 maximize their mental health and social-emotional literacy-- the
knowledge and skills they need to achieve well-being and avoid
lifestyle-induced chronic illnesses. Students get a better understanding of
health -- health of the mind, body and spirit -- and a new appreciation for
health as a fundamental resource for everyday life.
