| Kindergarten Registration |
|
Children born in 2006 are eligible to enter
kindergarten in September 2011. Parents, who feel their child is not yet
ready for kindergarten, may defer enrollment for one year. Please contact
the School Board Office (770-7700) for
further information regarding enrollment deferral.
Placement in your neighborhood school kindergarten is
based on your address and the registration date. The earlier you register,
the more likely your child will attend a school close to your home.
Kindergarten registrations for September 2011 are being received at school
offices. Register at your neighbourhood school during regular school hours. Birth Certificate and proof of address will be required.

| Students new to our district must register at their neighborhood schools. Refer to the school boundary maps to locate the nearest school to your home. Enquiries about school boundaries can also be made at the School Board Office (250-770-7700). If students have been issued report cards from previous schools, they should be presented at the time of registration. |
| New to Canada? |
| Students new to Canada and wishing to register for schooling within our district must contact the Director of Instruction (Student Services) at 250-770-7700 for an appointment. |
| International Program |
| Information regarding the district’s International Program is available through the Administrative Assistant – Personnel (250-770-7719). |
