March is here, and although the snow and cold weather may make it feel that winter will never end, the sunny blue skies give us a hint of what is to come. This newsletter will cover upcoming events in March and April, as we return from our Spring break with events happening right away! There is so much to look forward to, but before these events are upon us I would like to take the moment to celebrate some of the amazing learning that has been taking place over the past month, such as:
- our drumming event: Our community concert on February 9th was a celebration of learning, music, dancing and drumming- and it was great to see so many parents, grandparents, and preschoolers participating in this fun event!
- Olympics in the school: last Friday we all participated in our very own winter Olympics- from our own unique version of bobsledding to speed skating to hockey- so much fun was had by all!
-Friendship Feast: wow! Our second annual potluck luncheon celebrating our cultural diversity and community friendships was amazing- thank you to all who brought in delectable goodies, and to those who stayed and helped serve and clean up.
We are so grateful to our amazing PAC, which supports so many unique and amazing opportunities for our children. This support is not only financial, but also through the tireless efforts of parents who volunteer their time and energy. Many, many thanks!
