If your child is experiencing any symptoms of illness, contact a health-care provider for further assessment. This includes 8-1-1, or a primary care provider like a physician or nurse practitioner.

Dear Trout Creek Families:
First, we would like to thank you for your patience and flexibility as we work to provide the safest possible learning and work environment for our staff and students. We look forward to having everyone back and we hope to make the transition as smooth as possible.
For us to help keep each other safe, we need family partnership more than ever in keeping COVID-19 contained in our communities. We cannot do this without you. To this end, we are providing some information to you to help you understand the safety protocols that we have put in place as well as what we need from families to help keep each other safe in our school community.
In the attachments you will see a copy of the Safety Protocols and Expectations. You will also find a copy of the Daily Health Check, which parents and guardians must complete daily at home with their child(ren). Please keep the Daily Health Check reference sheet in a visible place as a reminder. We will also be sending home a hard copy.
We have put a lot of careful consideration in the placement of your child in his or her new class and we hope to avoid making any changes this year to limit unnecessary movement between cohorts. Your child will be in XXX's grade X/X class this year. Please see the attached Trout Creek School Map for where to line up for class. New families, we will have staff outside to help if you have questions.
All students are asked to bring their school supplies on their first day back. As we won't have shared supplies, it will be important that all items are unpackaged and labeled. Students should also bring their own water bottle, which they can refill in the sink throughout the day if needed.
As a reminder, students will attend on either September 10th or September 11th. Having smaller groups for the first two days will allow teachers to welcome students and review processes and procedures. Students will be here for a full day from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm and buses will run as normal. Parents who walk or drive their child(ren) to school are asked to come as close to bell as possible and will be asked to not enter the classrooms to ensure the safety and well-being of others. For these two days, students have been sorted by their last name:
A to L - Thursday, September 10th
M to Z - Friday, September 11th
I look forward to seeing all our students back at school and appreciate your help in supporting a safe return to school. If you have further questions, please contact me by email or by phone. I am also available in-person by appointment.
