There are a lot of students who love to make Uplands "a better place to be". They are earning SOAR slips every day for demonstrating positive acts in our school in a variety of different ways!! Come out and see the SOAR balloons on the bulletin board by the gym and the SOAR container in the office (which is quickly filling up)!! SOAR draws are made every day to recognize our students and when the SOAR container is filled up, the whole school will be rewarded. Students are also receiving "Student of the Week" trophies and certificates at our weekly assemblies. What does SOAR mean? Safety: Practicing safety for ourselves and others Organization: Being prepared for learning Achievement: Achieving success by trying our best Respect: Respecting ourselves, others and property
