Graduation Transitions is a mandatory part of the graduation program. There are three parts to Graduation Transitions.

  1. Career and Life Transition Plan

 

 

Completed in Planning 10 B

 

  1. Daily Physical Activity

 

 

Personal Health / Physical Activity Plan

 

  1. Community Connections 30 hours of Volunteer Community work or Volunteer or paid Work Experience

Assessment

 Minimum requirements for each section must be completed to earn credit for Graduation Transitions. Upon successful completion, a “Requirement Met” (RM ) mark will be assigned and will provide four credits toward graduation.

 Personal Health / Daily Physical Activity

Effective September 2008, all students from K to 12 are required to participate in 30 minutes of physical activity per day. Physical activity may consist of either instructional (PE course) or non-instructional activities (school or community teams and personal physical activities).

Daily Physical Activity is defined as endurance, strength and/or flexibility activities done on a daily basis.

Grads!

To receive credit for GT complete the GT Guide and return it to the Career Centre before the end of Term 2.
