Entertainment
Committee Update:
Prom DJ –
Dwayne Mollin available June 29th – same service as last year (5 hrs
from
Hypnotist
– Casey Jones booked for June 30th 8:30 to
Party
Works – booked for June 30th
Setting
up board games & Wii in Senior Lobby – gives those not wanting to wait in
line-ups (or looking for down-time) something else to do.
Other
ideas still being considered:
Photo
Booth – possibility of working with Pen-Hi or Maggie to share cost of company
that provides this service, or creating/manning a photo booth ourselves (less
costly, but definitely more time/energy)
Palm
Reader – was a hit last year - need to contact her to see if she is available,
and whether she would be able to tone it down a bit??
Henna
Tattoos – individual in Penticton who does tattoos for parties – have not
contacted yet to inquire on price. Also, not sure if there is interest
from students.
Other
ideas?????
Committee
has not met since November – my fault, lack of time. Have put the call
out to the other committee members if one of them would like to take on chair
position, as I am not able to attend parent meetings on Tuesdays, and am not
able to commit an appropriate amount of time or resources to job due to
my crazy work/life schedule.
