Read examples of powerful work from 'Un Champion'.  Students edited and made improvements to their work.

mardi le 12  marked grammar homework (p. 13 E). New sheet (double-sided) to practice passé composé & négation. HW: Complete both sides of sheet for Thursday.

jeudi le 7  Library period to work on Rapport Pliant. HW: Finish reading the book - use French/English dictionary to help with comprehension.
mercredi le 6  Played a game to practice passé composé.  Peer edited 10 p/c sentences & wrote good copy.  Grammar textbook exercises to practice negation.  HW: Finish good copy of sentences & p. 13 Ex E (green textbook)

jeudi le 4  Students filled out an Impératif chart and practice worksheet

le 14  Began writing rough copy of postcards.  Many students were not prepared with their 5-10 phrases, so only about half were able to participate in the oral activity that preceded the writing.
le 13  Began postcard project by making observations about photos on actual postcards and going over project criteria.
le 12  New Dictée (it's a really easy one to make up for the fact that it's a 4-day week this week).  New Poème de la Semaine (l'automne en saison).
le 6 Went to library to sign out books for in-class reading program.
le 5  Finished going over Dictee #2.  Marked booklet on 'le feminin des adjectifs'
le 4  Handed-back Dictee test.  Went over new test.
le 1er  First Dictée test of the year.  Results will be handed-out Monday.

27 septmbre  Handed-out first Dictée of the year & went over content.  First test will be this Friday, October 1st.  Students should be reviewing every evening at home.
le 22 septembre  Rough copies handed-in to be marked.  Some students had to re-do their r/c because it must be double-spaced.
