Queen's Park Elementary

Queen’s Park Families,

Please join us for our monthly PAC meetings at 6:30 pm on the first or second Tuesday of each month.  Help  plan events  thru-out the year that benefit our kids, our school, and our community.

On Behalf of the Queens Park Parent Advisory Council (PAC), I would like to welcome you to the school year 2016/17. It will be an amazing year. My name is Natasha Scott and I was elected to Chair the PAC for this current year.  I am excited to help, be a part of something amazing, and make a difference in our children’s school year.

Queens Park has one of the most active PAC groups in the school district. Thanks to the support of families like yourself and our incredible principal Scott Edwards and his team of teachers, our school has many fabulous programs for our kids and the surrounding community.

Come out to PAC meetings and you will have the opportunity to voice your concerns over issues  facing our children, discuss spending of the PAC funds for events, sports, and equipment for the school, and keep up to date on the happenings at the school. We are lucky to have a trustee from the school board at  each of our meetings to update us on District affairs and listen to our concerns.

We would love to encourage more families to come out to the meetings!!  Childcare is available and free!

If ever our children needed us to be involved in their education, it is NOW!

There are many ways you can help and be a part of  the Queens Park PAC, coming to the meetings is the first step and is an incredible show of support. Everyone is WELCOME. All idea’s are listened to and respected. Show our kids how to make a difference.

We encourage parents and primary caregivers to join the ongoing dialogue about our school community on our Facebook Page – Look for Queens Park Elementary.

In Gratitude,
Natasha Scott
Chair, Queen’s Park Advisory Council (PAC)
