We will cover a number of topics including academics, athletics, school policies and procedures, and the International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme (MYP), which all Grade 9 students are a part of. You will learn about how the IB-MYP classroom functions, how the IB-MYP is a benefit to your child’s education, and how the assessment practices work, including what an IB Report Card looks like. Although the BC Education Plan and the IB-MYP have a number of similarities, there are some key differences and it is important that you as parents/guardians are aware of them.
