Sexual Orientation & Gender Identity sogi

SD67 and the Board of Education anchors all of our work through the lens of our core values of equity, empathy, sustainability, and resilience, and our schools work hard to ensure that we are focused on nurturing inclusive learning environments where every individual feels recognized, acknowledged, and accepted. Our core commitment as a District is to ensure that we support every child and adult to feel welcome for who they are, and that we value their protected human rights. We remain committed as a district to identifying, teaching and eliminating barriers that may compromise the safety and inclusive nature of learning environments to ensure we are creating inclusive spaces for all. 

 

As a District, we will continue to focus on modeling our core values as we support students, staff and families to ensure they feel welcome and safe to express who they are as part of our diverse school communities, as well as throughout all of our district facilities.
