Your Board of Education – Working Together for Our Schools

School District No. 67 (Okanagan Skaha) is governed by a Board of Education, elected every four years to represent the interests of our local school communities. These trustees ensure that public education reflects the values and priorities of our families and neighborhoods.

Our current Board includes seven trustees, proudly serving the communities of Kaleden, Naramata, Penticton, Summerland, and West Bench.

How We Govern

The Board strengthens its work through committees, trustee assignments to boards and agencies, and regular liaison with schools. These committees focus on specific areas within the Board’s jurisdiction, ensuring thoughtful decisions that support student success.

All Board meetings follow established policy and are open to the public and media. We encourage you to attend and stay informed! Meetings begin at 6:30 p.m.

Want to Speak to the Board?

We welcome delegations from individuals and groups who want to share ideas or concerns. Here’s how:

• Submit your request at least 8 days before the regular Board meeting.
• Email [email protected] with your details.
• Presentations are limited to 10 minutes.

Requests are reviewed by the Board Chair and Vice Chair during agenda planning.
