Budget Process

The Board of Education is responsible for the development of each year's budget. The operating budget provides for salaries, supplies and services, instruction, administration, operation and maintenance, and transportation. The fiscal year for this budget runs July 1 to June 30.  

The Board of Education has created a Budget Advisory Committee. Members of the committee include three trustees and representatives from partner groups. The Budget Advisory Committee will provide a report to the Board at the monthly Regular Board meeting. The culmination of the work of the committee will be to recommend to the Board of Education a balance budget for the upcoming fiscal year.
